Women Looking Forward To Aviva Experience

October 31, 2013

Celtic Women V Wexford Yths Sept 29 Cup Semi-FinalThe Clubs Women’s team is looking forward to Sunday’s FAI Senior Cup showdown with red hot favourites Raheny Utd. The Adrian Carberry’s young side will know they will be up against it on Sunday but they are determined that the 9-2 defeat they suffered at the hands of Raheny will not happen in the final and they know that the score line flattered the Dublin outfit on the day but had no complaints about the result. With the final been shown live on RTE the Hoops will be pulling out all the stops to show their true potential. Adrian Carberry will have a full squad to pick from bar the injured Irish U19 International Shaunagh Jackson who is out with a knee injury but with Emma Mullin, Katie Walsh and Trish Moran all returning from the injury list will offset her loss. The team have put in a tremendous effort so far this season and everyone at the Club is hopeful that the team can pull off a shock on Sunday.
